Speaker for a clinic or demonstration: how to let the audience listen in

At a clinic or demonstration the audience usually hears nothing of what the instructor says. With a CEECOACH PLUS and the MIFA A90 Bluetooth speaker everyone around the arena listens in live – no PA system needed.

Speaker for a clinic or demonstration: how to let the audience listen in

You are giving a clinic, a demonstration or a group lesson with spectators. The rider in the arena hears you perfectly through the earpiece, but the audience at the rail hears… nothing. They see a horse that suddenly moves better, but miss the exact instruction that caused it. A pity, because that is precisely what people come to a clinic for.

The problem: a training set is private

A communication system like the CEECOACH PLUS is designed to let the instructor and rider(s) talk without interruption: up to 16 participants, 700 metres range, no interference on busy showgrounds. Exactly what you want during a lesson. But at a clinic you want the opposite: that everyone hears it. Hiring a PA system is expensive and cumbersome, and holding a microphone while teaching does not work.

The solution: pair a Bluetooth speaker with your CEECOACH

You pair the MIFA A90 Bluetooth speaker directly via Bluetooth with the instructor's CEECOACH PLUS. Everything you say into your headset comes out of the speaker at the same time. The rider still hears you in the earpiece, the audience hears you through the speaker. Nothing extra to operate.

  • 60 watts and 360° sound: plenty for an outdoor arena or an indoor school with spectators along one long side.
  • Waterproof (IPX8): a shower during the clinic is no problem.
  • Wireless and portable: long battery life, carrying strap, no power socket needed. Put it on a fence, a table or the stand.
  • Also for music or cues from your phone, for example at a freestyle demonstration or during warm-up.

How it works in practice

  1. Switch on the MIFA A90 and put it in pairing mode (hold the Bluetooth button).
  2. Pair the speaker with the instructor's CEECOACH PLUS, just like a Bluetooth headset. You only do this once; afterwards it connects automatically.
  3. The instructor talks into the headset – rider and audience hear the same thing at the same moment.

Tips for a successful clinic

  • Place the speaker on the audience side, not in the middle of the arena; the volume stays low near the horse and clearly audible for the spectators.
  • Use a headset with boom microphone and noise cancelling: wind and hoofbeats are filtered out, so your voice comes out of the speaker clearly.
  • Charge the speaker and the CEECOACH units the evening before. A full clinic day is no problem.
  • Several riders in the arena at once? Give each rider their own CEECOACH PLUS unit; the instructor addresses everyone at the same time and the audience hears it all.

Who is this for?

Instructors who give clinics, clubs and riding schools that organise demonstrations, yards with open days, and anyone giving group lessons where parents or companions watch. Also handy at competition training: the trainer at the rail talks to the rider, and the parents who came along hear the instructions too.

You need: a CEECOACH PLUS set (for instructor and rider) and the MIFA A90 Bluetooth speaker. Already have a CEECOACH PLUS? Then the speaker alone is enough. Questions about your situation? Message or call us, we are happy to help.
